| The Institute for World Evangelisation - ICPE Mission is a Catholic Mission made up of Christians committed to the goal of world evangelisation. The ICPE Mission is dedicated to the formation and training of Catholics so that they may become more effective evangelisers. Through evangelisation, discipleship, community building and mercy work, the ICPE Mission pursues its purpose of training, formation, serving the Church and affecting the world for Christ. The ICPE Mission is an International Association of Christ's faithful with Pontifical Right and is the missionary expression of the Glory of God International Covenant Community. |
ABOUT USThe ICPE missionary communities worldwide are called to a life of Worship and Evangelisation. The communal lifestyle we live in the various Mission Centres is intrinsic to God's call and invitation to come together as a people, to know Him and to make Him known. We have come together from all walks of life, states of life, nationalities and ages. What unites us is the common inner experience of living under the Lordship of Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. OUR LIFE TOGETHEROur daily schedule usually includes a variety of activities. They range from the preparation of meals and general house cleaning, to time allotted for prayer and the various preparations for pastoral and evangelistic projects. We also value ongoing formation about our Faith, our life together and regarding different aspects of our ministry. We are able to share our lives more concretely and care for one another by belonging to a small group, a cell within the larger body of the community. Meanwhile, individuals have a prayer partner who provides different aspects of pastoral care, depending on the needs of that individual. Each of us is responsible for our life before God and makes his or her own decisions. Yet we eagerly seek input and the support and wisdom of other mature brothers and sisters in the process of making these decisions in our personal lives. For issues that relate directly to the life of the community, we frequently gather for times of prayer and consultation as communities. A highlight in the year for our life as a community is the annual week of preached retreat we have in each centre. Over and again, we have seen the Lord using this time to refresh us, equip us and unite us with renewed vision and direction for the year ahead. TRUSTING GOD'S PROVIDENCEThe ICPE missionary communities live on Providence. Individually, we trust God to provide for our basic personal needs... from toothpaste to a family car! As for our communal everyday needs and extraordinary ones, we trust God together to supply them through individuals whom He prompts into helping us. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ICPE MISSIONThe vision for the Institute for World Evangelisation – ICPE Mission was first conceived in the early 1980s by a group of people who had been touched by the Lord in Malta through the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. Mario and Anna Cappello founded the ICPE Mission to make Christ known to all nations, expressed through a readiness and an availability to bring the values and the message of the Gospel to anyone, anywhere and at any time. GLORY OF GOD INTERNATIONAL COVENANT COMMUNITYThe Glory of God International Covenant Community (GOGICC) was constituted in Malta in 1987; it has its roots in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement that started on the island in the late seventies. The GOGICC is a Covenant Community that is Catholic, Charismatic and International with the call to Worship and Evangelisation.
