Hello,

We are Michael (32 years old) and Teresa (26 years old) and our three little daughters Clara, Miriam and Sophia. We are also expecting our fourth!!

For a long time, we desired to serve the Lord in the Catholic Church through evangelisation. As we worked with renewal movements and led different seminars, our need to be trained and formed in evangelisation grew as did our need to discern God’s vocation for our lives. So in 2008, we participated in the ICPE School of Mission in Allerheiligen, Germany, to see how the Lord would lead us.

After the School and having taken time to discern, in 2010 we founded an evangelistic association called “Lebendiges Wasser e.V.” (Living Waters), and since January this year we opened a little Mission Centre in Halfing (Bavaria).

Since our SOM, we remained in contact with the ICPE Mission as we felt the desire to somehow be tied to this missionary community. In fact, in February this year, we started the formation to become Companions of the ICPE Mission.

We are looking forward to seeing what great things the Lord will do...

God bless you all!

Companions of the
ICPE Mission
- ICPE missionaries in the marketplace

The Companions are members of the ICPE Mission whose personal vocation or circumstances place them as salt and leaven at the heart of society, outside an ICPE residential community. These members serve to further the ICPE charism and spirit in society and their parish wherever they live.

Spirit of Communion
The Companions are linked to an ICPE Mission Centre or ICPE Community House closest to their place of residence, or one of choice, as a concrete way of living in communion with the international ICPE family.
Active Apostolate
The members of the ICPE Mission serve the mission of the Church through active apostolate developed in a number of ways in the world and in the Church.
Covenanted Companions of the ICPE Mission
Covenant is offered to Companions who are able to live out and express their covenant in a tangible way by forming an Assembly of Companions in one location where regular interaction and meetings are possible.
Non-Covenanted Companions of the ICPE Mission
Non-covenanted Companions are members of the ICPE Mission who live the ICPE charism but have valid reasons for not becoming covenanted members of the GOGICC.

These reasons include:

  • the lack of possibility to live out the covenant in a tangible way with others who live in close proximity and share the same call
  • the situation where only one spouse is expressing the desire to share in this call
  • the case of religious brothers and sisters who desire to share in the covenant of the community while retaining membership in their primary community.
