Settling into its new location in Mannheim - a bustling, multicultural city in the state of Baden-Wüttemburg - the ICPE Mission is establishing a new presence in Germany. After relocating from Allerheiligen in the Black Forest, the ICPE community looks forward to ministering to even more people through a presence in the heart of Mannheim.
Through the Archbishop of Freiburg’s encouragement and generosity, two houses were made available to the ICPE Mission. The three community members are Silvana Abela and Michael and Patricia Papenkordt and their children.
Community life consists of times of prayer, ministry, office work, and forming relationships with the people of Mannheim and the surrounding area. Additionally, the German language is an important daily study!
Our current focus is on building the profile of the ICPE Mission in this part of Germany. Our vision is the formation and training of Catholics so that they may become more effective evangelisers. We want to make Christ known among the people of Germany, and to raise up new missionaries to serve the Church in the Mission of making Christ known.
Volunteers are welcome to experience community life and making Jesus known through staying with the ICPE Mission Germany.
