| The Institute for World Evangelisation coordinates
its worldwide outreach from several mission centres by running
a number of ministries and initiatives sustained by live-in communities. These ministries and initiatives were developed to reach out to people in a variety of ways, be it evangelisation, supporting people in their walk with God, ministering to them in their emotional, spiritual and practical needs, and training others in the body of Christ to do the same. Some of these ministries are: ABUNDANT LIFE MINISTRIES (ALM)ALM aims for wholeness in Christ through the integration of one’s relational and spiritual life. It also seeks to equip those who are in Christian leadership and pastoral care ministries with insights and tools to reach others with God’s life-giving vision. More CREATIVECOMMUNICATIONSCreativeCommunications is a ministry with a vision of creating a culture built on Christian values through the medium of creative arts and modern communication. CreativeCommunications is based on the understanding of men and women as persons called to pursue their wholeness and holiness. CreativeCommunications develops its work in
three main directions: FIREBRANDZFirebrandz aims to connect youth and make Christ known among youth in every nation through worship and evangelization, transforming every strata of society. It encourages sharing of faith, resources, experiences, and development of strategies of evangelisation and new forms of mission. It promotes a lifestyle of worship and evangelisation, a passionate participation in sacramental and liturgical life, appreciation of traditional prayer and spirituality, and ongoing formation in Catholic doctrine. It seeks to build unity among Catholic youth from different nations, cultures, languages, and backgrounds. More JESUS FILMMillennium Films International (MFI) was established in response to the Holy Father’s call for Catholics to engage themselves in a “new evangelisation” by seeking to make the Gospel relevant through the creative use of contemporary means, language and expression to communicate the Good News. Through the use of the JESUS film and other means of mass communication, Millennium Films International aims to evangelise and to help parish communities, families and individuals worldwide to renew their personal faith and love for Jesus. More MISSIO AD GENTESMissio Ad Gentes seeks to raise a consciousness of missions worldwide. Through congresses and networking, Missio Ad Gentes aims at mobilising and encouraging Catholic missionary vocations, equipping Catholics to evangelise effectively and integrate new ways of evangelisation within the local church. Missio Ad Gentes is directed towards facilitating exchange on contemporary issues related to missiology such as inculturation, interreligious dialogue and the uniqueness of Christ in a pluralistic culture. MISSION:/POSSIBLEMission:/Possible is a hopeXchange volunteer programme, mobilising people for short and long term humanitarian projects around the world. It provides an opportunity for professionals or individuals skilled in a certain trade to give part of their time and energy to help others in need. More SCHOOL OF MISSIONSThe ICPE School of Missions is a full-time, four month course in in-depth faith formation including Biblical study and Church teaching. The programme focuses on the individual’s relationship with God and with the Church, while offering the missionary lifestyle as a valid option for today’s Catholic youth. Input is received through daily lectures as well as small groups, one-on-one ministry, team work, liturgy and community living. Students receive a hands-on missionary experience through a month of evangelistic outreach. The course is dynamic and life-changing. More SET FREESET FREE is designed to bring about wholeness and healing in the power of the Holy Spirit. “Be set free and set others free” is at the heart of this ministry. This ministry believes in setting relationships right, beginning with an awareness of self, then with our Maker and finally with others. SET FREE achieves its purposes through running seminars dealing with the following topics: Inner Healing, Human Sexuality and the Ministry of Deliverance. It seeks to promote and support the dignity and the true identity of women so that wherever they are they can become catalysts in building a ‘culture of life’ and a ‘civilisation of love’. More
